 Here is the entry that won the BEST SCENE award over at UPAuthors Erotic/Romance Contest!

 

The scene is from THE SILKEN EDGE (my second erotic story), and takes place at the Underground Decadence, an exclusive BDSM club where my MC is visiting for the second time... 

Footsteps headed back in her direction and hands softly rubbed her ass. “I’m going to use a flogger on you, cutie. Remember your colors. Here’s what it looks like.” Master Jonathan held it in her line of vision. “It’s good for beginners since its suede and soft, and I’ll go easy.”

“Okay, Sir.”

He swatted her butt with it a few times gently. Somehow it was too soft. She wiggled her hips wanting more. The touches on her skin came harder but still didn’t hurt like she thought it would. Laci Paige ~ Pen Name and Random stuff!

Laci is a girl's name (also used as boy's name Lacey), is pronounced LAY-see. It is of Old French origin. Nobleman's surname carried to England and Ireland after the Norman conquest. Lacey and its variants may also be used in reference to lace, the delicate fabric made of netted thread, hence giving it a feminine connotation.

Laci is not my birth name though, it's my pen name =) How did I come up with the name Laci Paige?

I made a list of girls names I liked, I wasn't even thinking of a last name at that point. This was part of the list:

• Amy
• Abbi
• Crystal
• Laci
• Paige

As I read through the list when I said Laci Paige I just like the way that sounded, and went with it! So now you know!

Randoms:

• I don't know when the movie came out but my favorite movie I saw in 2012 was Paul. I loved that alien and would like him to come live with me! It was a movie about two British comic-book geeks traveling across the U.S. encounter an alien outside Area 51. 
• For new years my family hung out with another family for 24 hours, we ate, played games, drank, ate, drank, ate, slept a bit, ate... you get the idea.
• I love real milk chocolate made with the cocoa bean, any other chocolate is yucky.
• For Christmas I was super excited to get three DVD's: Magic Mike, Red Riding Hood, & Snow White and the Huntsman. 
• Two days ago I got the DVD for Better Off Dead! "I want my two dollars!" lol
• In addition to being an Erotic author, I also pen paranormal romance stories for older teens.

Questions I've been asked:

What is the craziest thing you have done? Probably sex on a roof top. It was scary and exciting at the same time. The roof was not accessible we had to do some serious climbing to get there.

What scares you? Spiders/Death/The dark/Drowning/Flying

Do you believe in aliens? Some days I do. I am iffy on that one.

Have you ever seen a ghost? I was young and I saw something, but I really don't know for sure that's what it was.

What vegetable do you hate? I LOVE all veggies - really!

Did you have an imaginary friend as a child and what was his name? Yes, Doofus was his name. Don't ask me why. I don't know. I was four. I also had an imaginary zoo on my roof.

 

Biography

Laci enjoys spending time with her family more than anything! She and her husband support their children on the soccer pitch and off. Laci enjoys the outdoors, and of course reading and writing (and chocolate). Their family lives in Hampton Roads with one cat.

First Book of 2013 and My First Training Bra

What was the first book of 2013 that I read?    My own...The Silken Edge

I had to. I needed to. I found an error and needed to be sure there weren't others. I quickly corrected the minor errors and re-listed the revised edition. So, if you were one of the ones to buy it in December then head to Amazon and ask Customer Service for the updated version (it's free).

Thinking back, way back, my favorite author as a child/teen was Judy Blume! She made me feel like a normal girl buying my first bra and starting my period. That shit's scary for a kid. To this day I am thankful for Judy and her book - "Are You There God It's Me Margaret". Because I was a shy kid and wouldn't have asked the first thing about it to any one.

We did have a informational day in 4th grade for the girls (and they could bring their mothers if they wanted to). I can't remember if mine came with me or not, but she knew about it. They sent a flyer home and explained what they were doing, and also gave parents an out if they didn't want their kid to sit through the talk.

Then I remember later on in a different grade, 5th I think, I had a male teacher, and again they separated boys from girls for a talk. I don't know what the boy talk was, but we discussed personal hygiene and how to keep clean, why, and how to use deodorant. I also remember the poor female teacher who had to show us how to use a tampon and pads. She took the tampon and put it in a clear glass of water so we could see it expand. I was amazed. I went home and tried it out with my moms because it looked so cool! But most of the girls were freaking out. It was funny, but I would never have spoken about it with anyone.

I learned a lot of stuff from friends who couldn't talk to their parents, they felt at ease around my mother so they would ask her the tough questions. I almost died one day when my best friend asked her if you could get pregnant from a blow job. My mom kept her cool about it, and I gotta give her props for that. She had to know that blow job had happened for my friend to be concerned enough to ask and she held it together.

I think there were two most embarrassing days around my mom. First was the day she took me to buy a training bra at Sears. Yep, Sears - a store full of man things, like tools and things. The second was when I actually got my period for the first time and had to tell her. Both times I think I blushed so hard my face felt like it was melting off!

But enough about that, I don't know if in this day and age a book like Judy Blume's would help anyone as it did me. Nowadays kids learn stuff so easily in school from peers. Both of my kids knew just about everything when I sat down to have the talk with them. Now that they are teens I think they know more than me, and could school me on a few things. It's a scary, scary world out there.
