I may disappear on and off from time to time. There are many reasons for this, but I will always come back. I promise.
My young adult alter ego has an eBook coming out in three weeks. This has kept me really busy along with my motherly and wifely duties. I turned the YA manuscript in to the senior editor, hopefully for the last time, but I won't hold my breath :) Once that one is finished and released than I can pay more attention to my adult contemporary short stories. Other than the one I received a contract for, I have one that is near completion, and two more on the back burner.
Just wanted to touch base,

#TT - Teaser Tuesday
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
Read my first M/M story... It was a good story about love.
THE CRUSH by G. A. Hauser and Stacey Rhodes
"You're not gay." Cooper tried not to blush. Now the booze was starting to warm him up."
Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS!(make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Twilight - Breaking Dawn Part 1
Yes, I will be going to see Breaking Dawn Part 1. I will even be at the midnight showing. Yes, I admit, I'm a fan. I know that will make most of you gag. I can't help it.
I am really a fan of the books. The movies are just so-so, but they get better with time. Surely, that has to do with the movie budget growing.
Who's team am I on? In the books I was always on the fence so I call myself a part of Team Jedward :)
In real life I am team KLutz (the guy that plays, Emmet, one of the vamps)! That man in his skivvies? wow! I have his Calvin Klien ad hanging in my bedroom like a teenage girl. After I put that up, my husband found a magazine article with a hot pic of Katy Perry, and hung it up next to Kellan. LOL. Those are our temporary get-out-of-marriage-free-cards right there folks.
Who do you hold a card for?

I Signed.
I submitted my adult contemporary short story (from my previous entry). I had to make some adjustments before Decadent Publishing would offer me a contract. The changes were made and the MS sent back in. I heard from them on Thursday with an offer of a contract. Today I signed it!
Yay! I'm excited. This is the first of it's kind I've tried to write. It was fun! My beta's are asking for more, so that's good! :) Sorry this is short and sweet, but I've got things to do! Ciao!

Waiting.
I submitted my short story to a publisher. Now I play the waiting game. The one where I check my email three times a day. Well, I check it that often anyway, this time I have purpose.
These things take time, I know, but I can't help it. I'm not a very patient person to begin with. I hate waiting. Period. For this reason I hate: shopping, banking, DMV, concerts or any crowded event for that matter.
Take NASCAR for instance; I love to attend the races, and yet they are horrible for waiting. You wait all day. You show up early to get a good parking spot (the pro to that - you can tailgate), and then you make your way to the track only to wait in line for entrance. The walk to your seats could be miles away - literally. Which to me is like waiting in line. You are slowly herded to your seat in a huge crowd walking one mile per hour. Feels like a line to me. Then you get to your seat and wait for the race to begin. You only ever want to get up from your seat for food and the bathroom, and only during a caution, so you don't miss any of the race. Everyone else is in on that plan too, a caution hits and everyone runs to the concessions and the restroom. More lines. Fun. Not! The race ends. What happens? You have to wait in line to leave your seat and to get out of the track. Then you have to wait in line, in your car to drive off the property. Any yet, I still enjoy the races... only one thing I can conclude from this; I am crazy! :)

Hola!
This is my first post in this blog... This is also the day where I decide whether or not to submit my erotic novella to a publisher. I think it's a pretty good story but we shall see. Wish me luck!
